Amazon Warehouse Employee Finds Job Satisfaction

SOUTH KEYS – Warehouse operator Frank Solong (26) contacted this reporter directly yesterday, waxing lyrical about how his job is “a revelation”.

“Honestly the 18-hour work day is a blessing. If I took breaks I’d just lose my momentum,” he explained. “My boss is so understanding – he knows that vacation is just a distraction and paid sick days would just encourage me to be sick more often.”

When speaking about the prospect of redundancy due to automation he said, “Let’s face it, those robots get the job done. Sure my day-to-day focus will change, but there’s plenty for me to do here. You simply can’t run this stuff without people.”

In his closing remarks, he expressed aspirations for the future of technology and the human race. “I’m excited by AI – it’ll give those robots someone else to talk to while I’m very busy with other important tasks,” he stated, “I’m just not worried. Amazon takes extraordinarily good care of their employees.”
