Endorsement: Combovers Are The Future

A new study released from the Beauty School Alliance of South Keys (BSASK) suggests that for balding men, the best way to hide their hair loss is not through elaborate hair surgery or hats, but simply a combover. After decades of research on the follically challenged, scientists say that it is best to just give up, buy a comb, some gel, and pray that you have a decent personality.

“The problem with the hat method is that 90% of people assume you’re hiding something,” stated Dr. Peter Reticent, PhD (58). “According to our research, plain sight is the best place to hide anything.” A study of single women between the ages of 25-35 determined conclusively that women were 90% less likely to trust men wearing baseball caps, especially on dates or when being followed in parking lots. “According to science, male-patten baldness is less terrifying than partially obfuscating the head and face” said Reticent.

The BSASK study funded by Unilever concluded that men wearing scented wax hair products felt more confident, compared with a placebo control group who didn’t smell very good and were still obviously bald. “As a woman,” stated local resident Alice Crest (30), “I much prefer a man who smells nice and has the illusion of hair, than a man smelling badly and also noticeably bald.”

Unilever has recently expanded their range of scented wax hair products for men, including the Rural Mechanic range with spicy notes of pepper, ginger and gasoline.
